What an honor it is to have one of our member’s Letter to the Editor published in the National Post! It is under the heading, Mourning Rex Murphy. Anita had chosen to present Mr. Murphy for our 2018-19 season of “The Role of Humour, Irony and Satire in Literature.”

Anita wrote, “In response to a query regarding his writing process, Rex graciously responded with a two-page letter sharing his belief that writers must spend time reading ‘the best that has been written’ and included a list of writers he admired. ‘Writers should pay at least as much attention to how they write as to what they write.’ ” Following the link below will take you to Mr. Murphy’s letter to the CWLC, in entirety.
