
Our current program theme is New Writers of the 21st Century – focussing on authors active in the 2000’s.
In 2022, our members presented on the works of: Heather O’Neill, Michael Crummey, Amor Towles, Esi Edugyan, J.K. Rowling, Tash Aw, Steven Price, Ottessa Moshfegh, Deborah Levy, Timothy Caulfield, Sally Rooney, Emily St. John Mandel, Thomas King, and Malcolm Gladwell. We were also honoured to host guest speakers Teresa Wong and Leah Horlick (both from the Calgary Distinguished Writers Program).
This theme continues in our spring 2023 session. Here’s what we have planned.
